What to Expect at International Connections Academy

High school original credit summer school courses require approximately 4 hours of work per day, 5 days per week, Time requirements for high school credit recovery courses* depend on how quickly students can master the material. Even though these courses are somewhat time intensive, Connexus® and our flexible online format allow students to schedule class work at their convenience from anywhere there is an Internet connection. In addition to Connexus, Summer Smarts programs use a third-party platform and require approximately 1–2 hours per day.

To verify learning, teachers conduct curriculum-based assessments by phone for all core courses. This assessment must be completed prior to the end date of each course and is required for a student to receive course credit. Students who do not complete the curriculum-based assessment call will not earn course credit.

For students new to iNaCA or its summer school programs, please contact one of our admissions advisors at +1-888-260-4159 for more information on enrolling and transferring credits. For more information about our Summer School program please view our 2017 Summer School flyer.

Online summer school students taking high school courses should follow the iNaCA Transcript Release policy to request official summer transcripts. Unofficial transcripts can be printed via the grade book in Connexus.

* The math, science, and social studies credit recovery courses will be offered through the Grad Point platform, with a single sign on through Connexus. Grad Point is a diagnostic prescriptive academic program that assists students in meeting subject standards by identifying areas of strength and weakness and focusing on standards in which students need greater mastery.

Note: Participation in our online environment requires appropriate computer equipment and Internet access. Before continuing with the enrollment process, please review the technology requirements.
