Accelerate coursework. Learn another language. Enrich your learning experience. Explore new interests or master new technologies. International Connections Academy’s original credit courses allow motivated high school students the opportunity to continue learning and growing throughout the summer. Led by teachers who are subject matter experts, these are not simply enrichment courses but enriching experiences.

Enriching Minds and Accelerating Progress

High school original credit courses require the equivalent of about four hours of work per day, five days a week for the duration of the course. While Connexus®, our education management system, allows students to complete assignments at their convenience, scheduled LiveLesson® sessions allow students to interact in real-time with the teacher and fellow students. (LiveLesson sessions are also recorded and available for review.)

Career Technical Education (CTE) Courses

The Career Technical Education (CTE) courses offered by International Connections Academy allow students to combine both college preparation and workforce skills development into one customized education program. CTE courses encourage students to explore and prepare for careers in business, sociology, criminal justice, medicine, and more.

Student Athletes: Core Courses Approved by the NCAA Eligibility

Many of the summer core courses offered by International Connections Academy are pre-approved for gaining eligibility through the NCAA Eligibility Center, however some restrictions do apply. Student athletes can choose from a number of Original Credit courses and two start dates: June 6th or June 13th.

Enrolling and Transferring Credits

For students who plan to transfer credit from International Connections Academy to their full-time school (a non-Connections Academy school) should be aware that the decision about whether to accept iNaCA course credits is wholly at the discretion of the school to which you hope to transfer the credits.

We strongly recommend that you ask about your school’s transfer credit policy and inform the school about your plans to take iNaCA courses prior to registering for an iNaCA course. To obtain credit for an iNaCA course at your full-time school, you may need the course description and Credit Pre-Approval Form.
